主内列位同道及朋友们平安：

在荣耀堂牧会期间曾为一位老弟兄祷告，他没有得到医治，但在平安中回返天家。为了感恩，这位老弟兄的儿女们在1996年5月初为我付住鹰阁医院的医药费，直到今日已接近13年，我还是记存在心中。前三天有一位弟兄安息主怀，我与师母为他的疾病祷告了二年多，上帝的旨意让他在平安与顺服中见主的面，享有天上的福乐。在病中我常常勉励他要为主兴建一间聚会场地，服事年老及体弱多病的人群。本周内教会计划像政府申请一块土地兴建疗养院，请为这事祷告，盼望二年内能够完成，荣耀主名。
有关疾病特列出以下五个保健方法，请翻阅主的话增加信心，俾继续在恩典中服务他人。
a) 保健（林前六:19-20）,
b) 用药品（提前五:23;雅五:14;王下廿:1-7;启廿二:2),
c) 祈祷（出十五:26;雅五:15;太九:29）,
d) 人体内有抗病力量.e)培养良好情绪,喜乐是良药（箴十七:22),
f) 但有时也有不治的（王下十五:3-5;耶十四:10-12；林后十二:7－11）

Dear fellow believers and friends

Peace to you.

While I was pasturing at Glory Presbyterian Church, I prayed unceasing for an old brother for healing but that did not materialized and he left for the Lord peacefully. In gratitude for this effort, the family foot my medical bills in early May 1996 when I was hospitalized in Gleneagles Hospital. 13 years have since passed but this act of generosity stayed within my heart. Just three days ago, another brother was called home to be with the Lord. My wife and I have been praying for him for the last two years for healing, but God’s will is for him to return back to be with Him to enjoy eternity. While he is still alive, I always encouraged him to build a church that will serve the elderly and the sick. In this coming week, I will be writing to Government to request for a piece of land to build an old folk home. Please pray for this request and I hope that in 2 years’ time we are able to glorify God with this setup.

Below are 5 ways we can maintain a healthy lifestyle. Please read the words of God to build up your faith and in faith to serve His people:

a) Healthy Lifestyle (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
b) Use of medication (1 Timothy 5:23, James 5:14, 2 Kings 20:1-7, Revelation 22:2)
c) Prayers (Exodus 15:26, James 5:15, Matthew 9:29)
d) Immune System
e) Good natured for happiness is the best medicine (Proverbs 17:22)
f) At times, it cannot be healed (2 Kings 15:3-5, Jeremiah 14:10-12, 2 Corinthians 12:7-11)

This Sunday I will continue with the series of “ACTS”. Please attend and also help us to build up a gracious church.
