外祖母在1952－1956年的五年时间，我们在印尼万隆住在一起，她看重主日敬拜，周四的祷告会，除此以外，她每日都唱诗，祈祷及读经,在圣灵中带出有满足喜乐的日子，这与她年轻时因生病回返天家有密切的关系，她看到天上千千万万人在敬拜，孩子特别多。她虽然在死中复活了，但她天天都在渴望再回到天家的日子，她对我的影响太大了。过去的60年我未曾在主日敬拜中缺席，1996年五月第一主日因在医院缺席了一次，出院后又恢复敬拜,又恢复了敬拜中寻找服事人的机会。
昨日与会众彼此提醒敬拜的重要性，它是永不可缺少的一种行动，当教会一切活动都消失时，敬拜仍是存在，与天上永远的敬拜连在一起、敬拜成了信徒生活的目的，蒙恩得救的基础。信徒每日当过着敬拜的见证，把服事人成为最重要的目标。在信息中提到英文Worship (Latris ),Service (Huperesia), Liturgy (Leitourgia) 及 Communion (Koinotes) 都劝勉人要放下自己的权益去服事人。
三月二日晚七时半将为身体健康彼此发出心声，下周准备藉大纲与收信者分享。
本主日（三月八日）晚六时陈月华长老将思考「神的旨意」，请出席聚会。
当来自中国的朋友达到十人时，我们会开始主日8.00-9.00pm的灵活聚会，探讨「创造与救赎」，「灵魂与肉体」，「工作与休息」，「理性与感性」，「信心与行为」，「言与行」，「圣与俗」，「男性与女性」，「个人与团体」，「苦难与成功」，「敬拜与服务」，「今生与来世」有关基督徒的均衡生活，请带领中国朋友出席并分享心声。敬祝

Dear believers and friends
Peace be to you.
I stayed with my maternal grandmother from 1952 to 1956 in Bandung, Indonesia. During my 5 years stay, I noticed she placed importance on Sunday worship and Thursday Prayer Meeting. She sang hymns , prayed and read the Bible everyday. She was able to bring the spirit of joy in her. Her behavior was a result of a major sickness where she returned to the Lord when she was young. In heaven, she saw many people were worshipping, especially the children. Though she resurrected eventually, she longed for her return to heaven. This impacted me a lot and in my 60 years, there was not once when I missed a service other than in the 1 Sunday of May 1996 when I was admitted to hospital. After my discharge, I resumed worship and also find opportunity to serve others.
Last night I shared with the congregation on the importance of worship, it is an action that cannot be lacking in the lifetime. When the activities in church ceased, the act of worship continues as this continues to eternality. Therefore worship has become the objective of Christian faith, the fundamental of being saved. Believers ought to live out a worship lifestyle, to place serving other as the most important aspect of their lives. In the sermon I mentioned Worship (Latris ), Service (Huperesia), Liturgy (Leitourgia) and Communion (Koinotes) so as to encourage them to place less emphasis on themselves and to serve others.
2 March 2009, at 7.30 pm fellowship, I shared the importance of healthy lifestyle. I will share with you in next week’s letter.

We will commence our China Meeting when there are 10 Chinese national among us. The service will start from 8.00pm to 9.00 pm and the order of worship will be more lively. Topics relating to a balanced Christian living such as “Creation and Salvation”, “Soul and body”, “Work and Sabbath”, “Conscious and feeling”, “Faith and action”, “Words and deeds”, “Holy and secular”, “Male and female” , “Individual and Fellowship”, “Suffering and success”, “Worship and Serving”, “The present and the future”. Please encourage your China nationals to attend.
