昨天是中秋节，讲员陈月华长老以「中秋谈月亮」传讲上帝的伟大，从创造给人看到了他的永能和神性（罗马书一：10～20），光体对人带来了祝福，最要紧由月亮夜间照明大地，管理海水之涨退，在属灵上也勉励人要被上帝所用，荣耀上帝。心中有感动再重印所写的小册「彼得前书纲要」，信息中有提到信徒得救最崇高的目标，是要追求在生活上圣洁。彼得前书二：9～10提醒信徒有了地位，就有责任，信徒要用传讲及行为宣扬上帝种种的美德和他的作为。所唱的一首歌表明心愿和使命；愿我言语行为表彰主美善，像他清洁并仁爱热心救人，灵火煅我性格，我身心变化，致我言语行为表彰主美善。靠着圣灵的工作，配上圣洁和仁义，我们必可为主见证，热心救人。
本主日（九月廿一日）下午六时讲员的讲题是「发光如星」（但以理十二：3），请出席。
教会鼓动将成立四周年感恩聚会之请柬亲交给亲友，邀请他们参加聚会，同颂主恩。
让我们再次为昨晚（拜一）之二位讲员向主感恩，相信他们能有一个全家信主的家庭，上帝也必为每个家庭成全这事，主要是用心愿照着诗歌的信息热心救人，这是主的要求，也是应许。 敬祝

Dear fellow believers and friends
Peace!
Yesterday was the Mid-Autumn Festival, Elder Esther Tan shared "the Mid-Autumn Moon,” From the creation, we can see the greatest, characteristic and almightiness of God (Romans 1:10-20), light is a blessing to mankind for the light from the moon illuminated the land at night, it controls the tidal waves to rise or recede, similarly spiritually, it encourages man to be used by God, glorifying His name. I have been moved to reprint the "Gist of 1 Peter" booklet. The content of the booklet, I mentioned that the noblest goal is to pursuit holiness in our daily lives. 1 Peter 2: 9 to 10 remind followers of their status, their responsibility is to share and evangelise the virtues of God and all His doings. Like the hymn that was sung yesterday, that brought about aspiration and mission; “May my words and actions express the good natured of the Lord. To be like Him in holiness and caring bring salvation to others Holy Spirit refine my character so that my words and deeds will bring about the good natured of the Lord. With the work of the Holy Spirit, coupled with holiness and justice, we will be witnesses for the Lord, enthusiastic saving others.
This Sunday, (21 September 2008) at 6.00pm, I will be sharing Daniel 12:3 - the "Luminous stars”, Please attend.
In conjunction to our 4th Anniversary celebration, invitation cards have been distributed. Please extend such invitation to relatives and friends, inviting them to participate in this celebration, together we will experience God’s blessings.
Let us once again give thanks to God for last night’s speakers and their testimonies. Like them, God will also bring about our families to Christ. The Lord’s requirement and promises are that we do our utmost as in the hymn above in saving others.
