昨天在证道中提到牧养的工作是当照上帝真理的原则留心照管羊群，不可省略或免去，在证道时曾提到七种上帝话语的重要：
1。比食物更重要（马太福音4：4）
「人活着、不是单靠食物、乃是靠神口里所出的一切话，」
2。比精金更宝贵（诗篇每119：72，127）
「祢口中的训言、与我有益、胜过千万的金银。」
「所以我爱祢的命令、胜过金子、更胜於精金。」
3。比日更明光（诗篇119；105，130）
「祢的话是我脚前的灯、是我路上的光。」
「祢的言语一解开、就发出亮光、使愚人通达。」
4。比蜜更甜（诗篇119：103）
「祢的言语、在我上膛何等甘甜.在我口中比蜜更甜。」
5。比药更好（箴言4：22）
「因为得着他的、就得了生命、又得了医全体的良药。」
6。比镜子更清明（雅各书1：23）
「因为听道而不行道的、就像人对着镜子看自己本来的面目。」
7。比剑更锋利（来4：12）
「神的道是活泼的、是有功效的、比一切两刃的剑更快、甚至魂与灵、骨节与骨髓、都能刺入剖开、连心中的思念和主意、都能辨明。」
本主日（九月十四日）下午六时陈月华长老见证主道，特别带出中秋节的月亮有灵意的勉励。请出席。

Dear fellow Christians and friends
Peace!
In last night sermon, I mentioned that the task of shepherding should be based on the principles God’s truth and care. These should not be omitted or removed. During the sermon, I mentioned 7 important facts from God’s word:
1) More important than food (Matthew 4:4)
“Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
2) More important than mammon (Psalm 119:72, 127)
“The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.”
“Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold,”.
3) Brighter than the sun (Psalm 119: 105, 130)
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.”
“The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple”
4) Sweeter than honey (Psalm 119:103)
“How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!”
5) More efficient than medication (Proverbs 4:22)
“for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body.”
6) Much clearer than the mirror (James 1:23)
“Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror”
7) Sharper than a sword (Hebrew 4:12)
“For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
This Sunday, 14 September 2008, being the Mid Autumn Festival, Elder Esther Tan will bring the message about the moon as an encouragement to others.
