主日香港颜美洁牧师用五饼二鱼带出信息,夫婿林锦尧弟兄见证23年来在人生的旅途上所经历与学习的课程。他们回香港后将继续关怀残障人群，请代祷。
四本福音书（可6：35～44）（参太14：13～21；路9：10～17; 约6：1～15）。都有记载五饼二鱼的神迹，从主耶稣给五千人吃饱，表明主不只是顾念人灵里的饥饿，也关心人肉身的需要。主耶稣面向五千多位听道的人的态度是同情与关心，从他分食物之前祝谢的话知道一个真理，一切的好处都是上帝所赏赐的。主耶稣需要门徒与他合作，众人都是从门徒的手中得到食物，最后所剩下的12个蓝子可能是分配给12个门徒，由此给我们看见为主工作没有落空。还有，孩童交上五饼二鱼也是重要的，人人都有得吃，孩子也不例外。
主说：「不要为那必坏的食物劳力，要为那存到永生的食物劳力」（约6: 27节）。主的含义是「不要作食物的工」，乃要「作上帝的工」，因我们劳力的目的，不是为追求现世的或临时的满足，乃是为了永久的满足。只有从主耶稣才能得到属灵的满足，解决人心灵的饥渴。请记得，耶稣是生命的粮，接受耶稣的赐予就是今生找到真正的生命，在来世找到荣耀（约 6：44～51节）。
音乐分享会的传单经已发出，请领人在主耶稣的里面得到新生命。本主日余达富牧师负责分享会的培训工作，时间照旧在下午六时。9月5日下午7.30pm举行音乐分享会，地点在金殿堂，张汉林牧师藉着诗歌带出真理，请纪念代祷。敬祝

Peace!
Rev Gan Bee Kiat shared on the miracle of 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes. Her husband, Brother James Lam’s his life testimony of their 23 years’ of marriage and the lesson learnt in the course of this journey. They will return to Hong Kong to continue on their ministry towards the handicapped. Please keep them in your prayers.
The four Gospels (Mark 6: 35-44; Matthew 14:13-21; Luke 9: 10-17, John 6: 1-15) recorded about this miracle where the Lord Jesus fed the five thousands. This act showed our Lord not only concerned about the spiritual hunger but also the physical hunger. His attitude towards the five thousand was of compassion and concern. From the way He gave thanks, we learned one truth that is all good things come from God. The Lord also needed the co-operation from the disciples, for the people received the bread and the fish from the disciples, finally there were 12 baskets full of leftovers which were probably meant for the twelve disciples. We can see that our work for the Lord shall not be in vain and also that the very act that the child was willing to give up the five loaves and two fishes, everyone was able to eat and be satisfied including the children.
The words of the Lord said “Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you.” (John 6:27). Meaning do not be overly concern with food but to do the will of God for our labour is not to satisfy the worldly needs but that of eternity. Only through the Lord can we experienced the eternity satisfaction, quenching of the spiritual thirst. Remember, Jesus is the bread of life, accept Him is the truth meaning of life which will lead to eternity glory. (John 6:44-51).
The flyers for the 5 September 2009 Musical Outreach have been distributed. Please bring somebody to come before the Lord Jesus to receive a new life. This Sunday, Rev Eric Yee will be delivering the sermon on “Training”. Time at 6.00pm. The Musical Outreach will be held at Kim Tian Christian Church. Time is 7.30pm. Rev Henry Chong will bring out the truth from his songs. Do keep this event in your prayers.
