主内列位同道及朋友们平安：
敬拜是教会活动的基础，基本的工作，是属於每一个人的工作，还有敬拜也是不停息的工作。从英文的Liturgy 与 Worship 给信徒看到敬拜是公众的工作，是每一个人值得做的事。
昨日的崇拜勉励大家要要守主日，从旧约与新约都表明安息日是重要的：---
旧约方面---
1) 上帝的安息日，他留下榜样。
「天地万物都造齐了，到第七日造物的工经已完毕。就是在第七日歇了他一切的工，安息了」。（创二：1～3）
2) 律法的安息日，吩咐选民遵守。
「当纪念安息日，守为圣日。六日要劳碌作你一切的工。」（出廿：8）
新约方面：
3) 主的安息日，与主建立关系。
主说：「安息日是为人设立的。人子是安息日的主」。（可二：27～28）
4) 永远的安息日，在天上享安息。
「这样看来，必另有一个安息日的安息，为神的子民存留。因为那进入安息的，乃是歇了自
己的工，正如神自己歇了他的工一样。所以你们务必竭力进入那安息日，免得有人学了那
不顺从的样子跌倒了。「（来四：10～11）
「不进入安息，就是违背了上帝的旨意。对守安息日，要意见坚定不要随身附和，当清楚是为主守的，而且心存感恩」。（罗十四：5～6）。
设立信望爱聚会乃要勉励信徒遵守安息，提醒别人，也领人一同享有安息。
本周再一次邮寄「曙光」季刊，请转交其他认识的牧者与信徒阅读。「圣诞」季刊定十二月十三日下印，内容是「上帝同在」的应许，请惠赐见证或感恩信息，约50个字。谢谢。

Dear fellow believers and friends
Peace!
Worship is church’s fundamental and basic activity, and the work for all individuals. The act of worship is continuous. The words “Liturgy” and “Worship” reveal that worship is an activity to be taken by everyone. It is an activity that is worth doing.
During yesterday’s sermon I encouraged the worshipper to observe the Sabbath. The old and new testaments reveal the importance of Sabbath.
From the Old Testament
1) God is Sabbath, He himself has set an example
“Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.” Genesis 2:1-3
2) The Law of Mosses commanded the people to rest on Sabbath
“"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.” Exodus 20:8
From the New Testament
3) The Lord’s Sabbath, to establish a relationship with Him
“Then he said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath." Marks 2:27-28
4) Eternity rest, rest in heaven
“for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience.” Hebrews 4:10-11
“One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat, eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.” Romans 14:5-6
The purpose of this Faith, Hope and Love Service is to encourage believers to observe the Sabbath, to remind and lead others to the Lord’s Sabbath.
