马丁路德说 :音乐是神赐给人类最美好的礼物，可以令人离开忧愁的重要重担,又可以排除恶念迷惑.
爱 约 翰说 ：灵化的诗歌，藉着高尚的喜乐，能驱除引诱人的恶魔。
苏格拉底说：如果你希望一个人有刚强奋斗的精神，你用刚强的调子来鼓舞他。如果你希望他有温柔慈爱的性情，你用温柔的调子来陶养他。
柏拉图说： 运动可以健壮身体，音乐可以健壮灵魂。
奥古斯丁说：圣乐可以慰藉沉溺的灵魂，帮助作一个洁净的人。音乐所携带的医治能力，可以从下列历史记事窥见一斑：恶魔临到扫罗王身上的时候，大卫就拿琴用手而弹，扫罗便舒畅爽快，恶魔离了他。（撒上十六：23）

Dear fellow believers and friends
Peace to you!
This Sunday, at 6.00 pm, we are glad to have the Praise and Worship team from the Bethany Presbyterian Church to lead us in a time of praise and worship so as to set our heart to worship God, thereafter, Rev Timothy Hoon will deliver a very moving sermon which will build up the lives of many believers. The effectiveness of poetry is: Creating our own music to reflect the love of our God, to sooth the ailing world.
Martin Luther said; “Music is the most precious gift God have given to mankind, it can relief the burden of frustration and also to eliminate the destructive evil thoughts.”
John said: “Spiritual songs coupled with joy is able to drive out the evil one.”
Socrates said: “If you wish to have a firm spirit in you, you used a firm tone to build it up. If you wish to have a gentle nature of love, you used the gentle words to nourish it.”
Plato said: “Sports build up the body, music builds up the soul.”
Augustine said: “Sacred music can be addictive and comfort the soul, helping it to be clean. Music is able to bring about healing to the inner soul.”
From the passage 1 Samuel 16:23 recorded below,
“Whenever the spirit from God came upon Saul, David would take his harp and play. Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him.”
