牧者的话 - 11-11-2008

这礼拜继续提到传福音是教会唯一的使命。上周二提到在先知约拿他本身就是一个神迹，他听命顺从，上帝便使尼尼微人全城都悔改归向上帝，带出救恩是出於耶和华的凭据。昨日上午十一时在新加坡忠心堂证道，信息也鼓励信徒当同心合力去广传福音。诗126：6节说：那带种流泪出去撒种的，必要欢欢乐乐的带禾捆回来。在属灵方面，撒种就是传福音，种子也就是福音，是上帝的道（彼前一：23～25）。

撒种（传福音的人）应该注意三件事：1) 要出去（有行动），2)要带种（在生命中经历重生，把存在心中的道带出去），3)要流泪（要诚恳，有爱心，肯付代价）。上帝必为撒种的人成就丰富的收割，欢喜快乐的向主感恩。

      传福音的人不能忽略上帝的道，日日灵修，参加研经，主的道的兴旺而且得胜，就必会看到许多人悔改归主，增加教会得救的人数。

      本主日（十一月十九日）下午六时黄牧师将分享成功的人际关系（路六：27～36）。在祷告中不忘为印尼巴淡忠心堂的圣工代祷。敬祝

Dear fellow believers and friends

Peace be to you!

This week’s sermon continued to emphase that the church main commission is to share the gospel. Last Tuesday, I mentioned that Jonah himself was a miracle. He obeyed God and went to Nineveh with the message of repentance and brought out God’s salvation and credentials to the people. Yesterday I was at Singapore Loyal Church preaching and my message was that believers ought to work together in disseminating the gospel. Psalm 126:6 “He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.” In the spiritual realm, sowing is spreading the gospel; the seed is the gospel, is the word of God (1 Peter 1:23-25).

Sower (people who share the gospel) should pay attention to three things: 1) to go out (action), 2) to bring seeds (in the rebirth of life experience, the presence of mind to bring out the truth), 3) to weep ( To be honest, caring and willing to pay the price). God will bring about the success of the sowers and the with joy give thanks to the Lord.

Evangelism cannot lose sight of God, they need to do their quiet time, study the bible and the words of God will prosper the sowers and victory is within and they will see many people repenting and coming to Christ and the church will increase in numbers.

This Sunday, (19 November 2008) at 6.00 pm. Rev Oey will share the success of relationships (Luke 6: 27 ~ 36). Please continue to uphold Batam’s Holy Church ministries.
