Dear fellow believers and friends
Peace to you!
I have been sharing about numbers for the past sermons, this Sunday I will continue with the number “6”. We will look from Ephesians 6: 10-17, to encourage believers to lead victorious spiritual lives. Believers ought to rely on God’s strength to resist the devil and his scheme. They therefore need to put on the armor of God to overcome the devil’s scheme for he is the ruler of this dark work and the spiritual evil doer.
Enclosed with this letter is a Chinese version on the wearing of the full armour. Please read through once. 20 September 2009 invite friends and relatives to come and be equipped.
Next issue of “Shu Guang” will be published in December. Theme of this issue is “Emmanuel”. Please write any thanksgiving articles of between 50 to 100 words and pass them to Mrs Oey on Sunday. You are also welcomed to contribute toward the cost of this publication.
11 October 2009 will be the church’s fifth anniversary thanksgiving service. Invitation cards will be given out this Sunday. Details are stated in the invitation card.
