一年来每周一举行的保健班将告一段落，七月起恢复回到在信徒家里举行小组会集。昨日有三位举行圣洗礼，信息中鼓励会众关心小组之成长，同时也参与事奉的行列，特别用马太福音25：14～30节劝勉信徒当带着良善与忠心完成主所托付的事工，四种的态度中应该是效法领五千及二千的仆人得到主人的赞赏，请留意列在下面的四点：
1. 没有忠心又没有良善～～领一千的仆人，在工作上没有忠心，对待人又没有良善，主责备这种人是「又恶又懒的仆人」。
2. 有良善没有忠心～～这种人是用人情做事，很迎合人的意思，讨人的欢喜，重点在於为人工作，把真理及属灵的行动置於一边，外表装得成功，但里面却空虚。
3. 有忠心而没有良善～～工作没有问题，肯追求、很勤劳、但内心有问题、抬高自己、分门结党、缺少爱心、没有同情心、常常会伤害人、闹意见。
4. 有忠心又有良善～～把教会当做自己的家，对主的工作有忠心，对人有爱心、亲爱和睦、细心牧养、肯付代价、并且为人作牺牲，这种仆人是主所喜悦的仆人，将来交账时有赏赐，主的名得了荣耀。
期望迎接成立五周年的感恩会中能有更多的信徒参与事奉，荣神益人。感恩会定十月十一日晚六时举行。
本主日（廿八日）在万民堂聚会将是整整的一年，谢谢万民堂的爱心接待，也感激廖启发牧师将在本主日担任讲员，主重用他。请出席。 敬祝

Dear fellow believers and friends
Peace!. Every Monday for the past one year, we focused on healthy lifestyle. This has come to an end. From July onwards, we will resume cell groups at believers’ home. Yesterday saw the baptism of three candidates, my sermon encourage the congregation to care for the growth of cell groups ad at the same time to participate and serve in the cell groups. The passage used was from Matthew 25:14-30 to advise believers ought to be good and loyal to accomplish the work God has entrusted them. Of the four attitudes, we should imitate the servants with 5 and 2 talents which received their rewards from their master. Please pay attention to the 4 points below:
1. Neither good nor loyal – the parable of the one with one talent, he was not loyal in his work and was unkind to others, the Lord reprimanded such person as “wicked and lazy servant”.
2. Good but not loyal – attitude is towards human feeling and comply with human’s perspectives just to please others. The focus is on human tasks. Truth and spiritual aspects have been neglected, outwardly seemed very successful but inwardly its emptiness.
3. Loyal but unkind – No problem with their work, the desire to pursue and hardworking, but there is problem with the inner being, has high self esteem, conflicts, lack of love and no sympathy for others, always hurt others and argue over opinions.
4. Loyal and good – Treat the church as their own homes, loyal to the Lord’s work, love for others, loving and harmonise, attentive shepherding, willing to pay a price and willing to sacrifice for others. This type of servant is God most pleased with. In eternity they will receive their rewards for God’s name has been glorified.
It is my hope than by the 5th Anniversary will serve and glorify God with righteous people. The thanksgiving is scheduled to be on the 11 October at 6.00 pm.
This Sunday (28th) would be our first anniversary worshipping at the Peoples Presbyterian Church. Our heartfelt thank to the members of the Peoples Presbyterian Church for their love and also to the Senior Pastor, Rev Phillip Leow for sharing this Sunday’s sermon. May the Lord use him mightily. Please attend.
