前日为李红杰弟兄举行回返中国欢送会，过去因工作关系，要给他培训的计划都不能实现，不然他回返家乡后可逐户进行关怀事工，让人明白「上帝是爱」的真理，教会可支助每月简单的生活费。现时补救的一个办法是每日用电话卡利用20分钟的时间进行培训。请代祷。
音乐分享与见证会只剩下12天的时间，本周将通过牧者转达传单给50间教会诗班团员，盼望会有二，三百人支持此项聚会。见证人卢马利姐妹之父母将陪她一起来，教会将会利用二，三时间制作访问节目，在9月5日晚的心灵感恩诗歌赞美会时可让赴会者通过奉献得到VCD，此举可去安慰，松解及支持在心灵与精神上有压力的朋友们，包括身体残疾者。9月5日晚请歌唱家张汉林牧师主持节目，地点还是在金殿堂。
教会的五个部门已在母亲节重新改组，七人振兴组的表现令人鼓午，相信10月11日举行成立五周年感恩会之前可达到100人，实现过着犹如一家成员彼此相爱的团契，荣神益人。
6月6日至8日进修会已印妥名单，每人费用是＄110。12岁以下孩童半费。若您的名字不在名单上可拨电话9146 3561或9690 5568尽快补上，接电后我们被通知进修会时间您不在新加坡，负责人将会挪去您的名字，请放心。聚会将会讲述推动小组事工大力兴旺福音的目标，让人人过着「全人健康」蒙恩有福的日子。新山「全备福音」教会在神祝福下兴建了一间可容纳1000人的聚会场地，他们的小组生活相当成功，这次「信望爱聚会」主办的进修会郑惠光主任牧师是讲员之一，请出席6月7日晚七时半的聚会，地点是新山皇后花园「好运酒店」，Goodhope Hotel,1, Jalan Ronggeng 5, Taman skudai Baru, 81300,Skudai, Johor Bahru电话：0207－5572828 Website: www.goodhopehotel.com.

2009 walkathon was successfully held on 9 May 2009 at 5.00pm. A total of over 30 cards were returned and about $15,000 had been collected. Praise God. I hope to receive the balance 60 cards in due course. If you are issuing by cheque, please make your cheque payable to “Faith, Hope and Love Service” and send it to the address stated above. Previous day, we had a farewell get together for our brother Hong Jie who will be returning to China. Due to work commitment, the church was not able to equip him with Christian’s doctrine, otherwise he would be able to share the love of God to his fellow countrymen. The remedy now is to have 20 minutes of fellowship via the phone. Please pray about it.
In 12 days time, we will be having our 2nd Evangelism Outreach. The coming week, the Pastor will deliver the flyers to the choir members of some 50 churches. It is hoped that this outreach there will be about 200 to 300 attendance. Testimony will be shared by Sister Mary Loo and the church will spend 20 to 30 minutes interviewing her and the interview will be burned into VCDs and can be purchased on 5 September 2009 Praise and Worship Outreach. This can be used as an encouragement to those spiritually drained and physically stressed up individuals and also the handicapped. The September Outreach will be led by Rev Henry Chong, place is Kim Tian Christian Centre.
The 5 departments have been revamped during the Mother’s Day Sunday. The 7 members of the Zhengxin team is commendable. I believe by the 5 Anniversary Celebration on 11 October 2009, we will be able to reach the 100 worshippers target.
The name list for the retreat on 6-8 June 2009 is ready. The price is $110 for adults and $55 for children under the age of 12. If you would like to participate, please contact 9146 3561 or 9690 5568. The focus will be on the establishment of cell groups for the revival of the gospel so that everyone is able to live a complete life. Speakers for the retreat include pastors from the “Fully Equipped Gospel” which build a 1000 seats worshipper hall and their cell groups are very successful. The church hope to engage a music and children ministry co-worker and also a volunteer to plan for the 141 bedded old folk home. Please liaise with Chen Zhixin at 9690 5568 for initial assessment before meeting up with the pastor.
