主内列位同道及朋友平安：
教会在昨晚主日崇拜之后召开堂议会，通过一年来的事工与财政报告，还有2009－2010年13位新执委，并修改了两条章程，一切都很顺利。51位会友中的39位用举手表达了他们的支持与同意。但我觉得在新的一年栽培信徒的灵命，朝向合一是重要的。圣经有关合一的教训：
1) 主耶稣建立合一的基础，教会必须在同一个根基上合二为一。（太16;13-20;加3:27-28;腓2:5;林前3:17）
2) 主耶稣关心合一的事，他为教会合一祷告。（约17:11,20-23）
3) 信徒成为合一的灵宫之活石。（彼前2:5; 弗2:20-22; 林前6:19-20）
初期教会留下了合一的榜样。（徒2章）
本主日（二月十五日）下午六时聚会的讲题是ACTS，请为黄牧师代祷。奉上风水命运布道传单一张，请约请亲友参加，讲员叶明翰牧师将在2月20日下午6.45pm从美国飞来抵达新加坡，乘搭SQ 877班机由台北转机。请为讲员代祷。敬祝

Dear fellow believers and friends
Peace be to you.
The congregation Meeting was successfully held yesterday to pass and approve the following resolutions:
1) The annual report and 2008 Financial Statements
2) The appointment of the 13 working committee for 2009 to 2010
3) Amendment to the Church Constituent.
A total of 51 members attended and 39 raised their hands in approval. My utmost thought was not on the result but how in the New Year I am able to bring about unity in the church. The Bible teaches unity in:
1) Lord Jesus established the foundation of unity, the church must therefore be united in this foundation (Matt 16:13-20, Gal 3:27-28, Phil 2:5, 1 Cor 3:17)
2) The Lord himself concerned the unity of the church and He prayed for them (John 17:11, 20-23)
3) The disciple became united and become a cornerstone (1 Peter 2:5, Ephesians 2:20-22, 1 Cor 6:19-20)
The early church had set example of being a united church (Acts 2).
This Sunday, 15 February 2009 at 6.00pm, I will be sharing the sermon entitled ACTS. Please pray for me. Enclosed is the flyer for the “Feng Shui Outreach”, please invite your relative to attend.
