主内列位同道及朋友们平安：

渡过感恩的受难周，期望信徒都能天天过复活节，与主同活。重读腓利比书三章7～21节，
指出一个被基督得着的人，要竭力去追求基督所要你得的，让基督也得着你，基督为你定下人生的目标，保罗以完成此任务为大喜乐，他的志向就是像一个运动员「努力面前」的奔跑，盼望得到将来复活后的奖赏，保罗一生追求的目标有以下的七点：
a) 得着基督的生命（8节）
b) 追求基督的丰富（9，12节）
c) 效法基督的榜样（10，11节）
d) 领受基督的奖赏（13，14节）
e) 祈求所需的指示，能力（15，16节）
f) 效法属灵领袖的榜样（17节）
g) 提防干扰并候主再来 （18～21节）
信望爱聚会众信徒愿意靠着基督所赐的生命服事他人，很欢喜接到政府部门打来的电话，表明教会关心长者是一件好事，这是爱心的见证。盼望本周所发出的义走卡，在众人的捐献下能鼓励教会继续往前走，实现建设疗养院的目标，并拥有自己聚会的场地，荣耀主名。
请把本主日的传单转交给亲友，一同出席，包括五月廿三，廿四日音乐分享与见证布道会传单。我们也筹备制作CD 筹募兴建疗养院的需要。还有，六月六日至八日之进修会请尽早报名，五月初就要作好分组的名单，谢谢。 敬祝

Dear fellow believers and friends

Peace!

I am thankful for the Passion Week and prayed that Christians will live resurrected lives daily as to live is Christ. Please read the Book of Philippians 3: 7-21 that when one is saved by Christ, he/she has the desire to seek out what Christ would have instilled for them for Christ has set the path one has to go. The Apostle Paul described this as a joyous event and saw such event as an athlete who trains hard to run in a race in order to win the price after the resurrection. In his lifetime, Paul sought the following 7 points:
1) the life of Christ (v8)
2) seek the richness of Christ (vv 9, 12)
3) imitate Christ (vv10, 11)
4) receive the rewards from Christ (vv 13, 14)
5) seek God for directions and strength (vv 15, 16)
6) imitate spiritual leaders (v 17)
7) guard against interferences and wait for the Lord’s coming (vv18-21)

Faith, Hope and Love Service will depend on the grace provided by Christ to serve others. I am glad to receive a call from the Government Agency that the church work on the elderly is good and this is an act of love. I hope that the walkathon cards issued this week, the church may be encouraged by the generosity of the people donation so as to fulfill the establishment of an elderly home and a place of worship for us. May all glory be unto Him.

Please pass on this week flyers to friends encouraging them to attend this week’s service. Also included are the flyers for the 23, 24 May 2009 Musical Outreach. We have also prepared CD to raise fund for the Elderly Home. Please register early for the June 6-8 Retreat. We hope to finalise by early May.
