上主日晚六时的聚会黄灵盈小妹妹提到主耶稣复活升天后给信徒的二个礼物，一个是圣经，另一个是圣灵。这二个都是以爱为基础，凡人所作的事，若没有爱就没有价值。上帝就是爱，天堂是爱的居所，没有爱就没有份进入上帝的居所。太廿二：40提到爱上帝，爱人是诫命的基础，加拉太五：22指出圣灵的果子是从爱为开始，爱将其他的八个果子结出来。黄恩浩牧师在讲道中也带出教会的名词是上帝用他的话选召信徒聚集在一起，教会也当被圣灵充满才会结出果子。信徒更应该要保守圣灵所赐合二为一的心。敬拜赞美是表达属於上帝的见证，是主再来时信徒所当交帐的一件事。
黄灵益小妹妹在学业上令父母的心得到安慰，这是孝敬父母的行动，弗六：1～4父母所给她的勉励是当寻求上帝的智慧为动力，加上专心，还有天天要有平衡并是享受的准备都是重要的。她盼望新加坡的学生们都成功。
本主日聚会改在年初三（一月廿八日) 举行，时间是七时半，交通服务候车时间迟了一个半钟头。请领人出席感恩聚会。
教会执委开会时设立一个振兴跟进事工组，成员是黄鹏远，陈月华，林抒亚，杨彩华，余慕华，陈志新与王金凤七位。每周会集一次，更进与推动事工的果效。
按立牧师顺利完成，沈立德牧师所带出的信息取自林前一：26～31，讲题是“上帝的拣选”，感人极深。

Dear fellow believers and friends,
Peace!
At last Sunday worship service at 6.00pm. Christie Oey shared that Christ left two values gifts to believers: 1) is the Bible and 2) the Holy Spirit: these two are the fundamental of Love. It would be worthless if it is done without love. God is Love and the heaven is a dwelling place where love exists and those that are without love has no part in this place. Matthew 22:40 states to Love God and love Man is the basic commandment. Galatians 5:22 said that the 9 fruits of the spirits begin with Love and from love bears the other 8 fruits. Rev Samuel Oey’s sermon was on “Church and its meaning” and its is through His words that bring about believers to congregate together and that the church has to be filled with the spirit in order to bear spiritual fruits. Believers ought to be united with the Holy Spirit as one. Praise and worship is a testimony to God and is accountable to God when He returns.
Marshal’s school work brought about comfort to her parents, this is an act of honouring the parents. Ephesians 6:1-4, the parents’ encouragement is through seeking wisdom from God, and to concentrate. A balanced in these two plus a time of relaxation is very important. Her wishes are that students in Singapore are also successful.
This Sunday worship has been rescheduled to the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year, 28 January 2009, time 7.30pm. Transport is delayed 1½ hours from the normal Sunday’s schedule. Do bring your friends to attend the Thanksgiving Service.
During the committee meeting, it was decided to start a “Revitalisation Group”. Members include Rev Bunyan Oey, Esther Tan, Lim Suk Har, Yuong Choye Wah, Er Mor Hua and Chen Zhixin. They will meet weekly to seek ways to pursue this ministry.
The ordination ceremony was successfully held. Rev Michael Shen’s sermon was taken from 1 Corinthians 1:26-31, “God’s chosen” which encouraged many.
